yes i recognize that the best way to distinguish O and 0 for math is by putting dots in zeros but I will continue to use my subtle and potentially confusing strike-through system (where theta is a horizontal line contained inside the circle, phi is a circle with a diagonal line through it, Phi is an unfinished circle with a looping vertical strike-through, PHI is a circle with a capital i going through it vertically, and zero is a circle with a diagonal line contained inside it) because I think zeros with dots in them look like boobies and i’d never be able to take myself even somewhat seriously if i did that

I don't usually do resolutions. Part of that is because of the idea if you slip just once that you've failed the whole thing as opposed to picking yourself back up and moving on. I also don't always get a word for the year, but this time I think I've gotten one. "Growth" is going to be the focus of this year for me. Growing in being more like Christ to the hurting and the broken. Growing back into the person that used to be articulate, well-spoken, and read the dictionary for the fun of learning new words. Growing in practicing my art weekly, not whimly. Growing in learning a new language. Growing in taking better care of this physical body. 

I also want to try and grow in feeling more open and personal on this blog. Not just yelling into the tags with thoughts and feelings, but making more original posts. I don't know how all of this is going to look, but I felt like sharing it.
